Over the past few years, there's one thing that we have collectively come to appreciate even more: spending time outside. We are exploring within our own country or across the border; on foot or by bike, train, or car. Like every year, we find it important that you are well-equipped for your journey. In fact, it is our mission to support your nomadic lifestyle with the best gear. Close by or far away, whatever the conditions may be. For over 45 years, we have been dedicated to designing and producing the most lightweight, compact, and durable products for every type of traveler and every kind of journey. This year, in 2024, we want to continue inspiring you to discover the world around you and to tread unknown paths.

Our journey towards becoming an increasingly sustainable brand is continuously evolving. Nature is our favorite playground and our greatest source of inspiration. As a manufacturer of outdoor gear and wear, we see it as our utmost responsibility to treat and protect nature as best as we can. We believe that creating products that last is the most powerful way to minimize our impact. Sustainability and social responsibility are therefore at the top of our list. We strive to produce our products in the most ethical and sustainable way possible, with respect for people and the environment. You can see these sustainability efforts in, for example, the new Blazer Organic and the Triple-S Premium sleeping bags that will soon be available on our website. These are high-performance sleeping bags made with recycled materials. Additionally, all our backpacks as well as raincovers and stuffsacks are entirely made from recycled materials. Meanwhile, for next year's collection, we are in the process of designing several products that are entirely made from recycled materials, created through a sustainable process. We are not there yet, but we are determined to continue improving what is not yet perfect.

LIGHTWEIGHT & COMPACT
We are constantly searching for materials or techniques that can make your outdoor equipment as lightweight and compact as possible. Whether it's a family tent, a comfortable sleeping mat, or a warm sleeping bag, we aim to make it as easy as possible for you to carry and store your gear. For this purpose, we use lightweight textiles such as nylon or polyester, lightweight 3D Polardown Lite® sleeping bag fillings, and ultra-lightweight DAC aluminum tent poles. With handy recycled compression 'stuffsacks', our products are easily stored compactly again. Take, for example, our new Dogon 4 LW family tent. A spacious tent that is easy to set up, it remains as lightweight as possible through the use of light aluminum tent poles and lightweight tent fabric. Or our Jade 2 Pro tent, which at just 1.5 kg can easily be carried in your backpack.

DESIGN & COMFORT
Comfort—and thereby good design—is central to the design and production of every NOMAD® product. Comfort is perhaps the first thing you think of when you plan to go camping, especially if it's for the first time. After all, you want to be able to sleep well, just like at home. You might also value the carrying comfort of your bag or the best blister-preventing hiking socks for your walk. These are all factors that we incorporate into our design process. Outdoor gear must be easy to use, comfortable to sit or lie in, and support you during your journey. Therefore, comfort and design are important pillars for us. New this year is our Taurus sleeping bag series. This series is completely focused on comfort, with a wider fit that gives you more space. The Taurus can be used in all seasons, making it versatile. Also, our new Dreamzone sleeping mats are all about comfort. The thickness of these mats (5 to 20 cm) makes sleeping on them almost like your own bed!
