With a water column of 15.000 mm and taped seams, these premium rain pants are a reliable choice when you're going on a dayhike or expecting medium rain. The NOMAD® Rain Pants Premium are crafted from high-quality, recycled polyester, making them light to wear and to carry.

Waterproofness and breathability

The water column of fabric tells you how much pressure of water the fabric can handle before it leaks. The higher the number, the more water it can withstand. A water column below 5.000 mm is considered waterresistant and a water column over 20.000 mm is considered highly waterproof in heavy rain. With a 15.000 mm water column, these rain pants offer excellent waterproofing capabilities, ensuring you stay dry in medium rain, and on longer hikes in the rain. Please note, pressure points such as sitting on a bike or wearing a backpack may affect the waterproofness.

Similarly, a fabric's breathability rating refers to its ability to allow moisture vapor, such as sweat, to escape from the inside of the garment to the outside atmosphere. With a breathability rating of 10.000 g/m², these rain pants are perfect for moderate-effort activities such as climbing or a dayhike.

With a special PFC-free coating, the fabric is made to keep rain out and let water vapor pass through.

Practical features

All seams in the NOMAD® Rain Pants Premium are fully taped, preventing water from seeping through. Together with the waterproof zipper, this gives the pants even more waterproofness.

The long waterproof zippers along the leg also allow you to quickly put the pants on over your footwear, and the velcro at the bottom make them fit snugly around you ankle. 

The elastic waist can be adjusted with velcro as well, so it's sure to fit comfortably whether you're wearing lots of layers or not.

With the reflective logo and details on the front, sides and back you're visible in low-light conditions.

Storage

The Rain Pants Premium are equipped with waterproof zippers. To keep them waterproof, it's best not to fold the pants where the zippers are. The pants can be stored loosely folded or hung.
