THE COMFORT TEMPERATURE MEN is defined as the lowest temperature at which an ‘average’ adult male (25 yrs. / 70 kg / 173 cm) can expect to sleep comfortably in a relaxed position. This range is designed to ensure a comfortable night's sleep, particularly for those who are not accustomed to colder environments.
THE EXTREME TEMPERATURE rating is a survival only rating, applicable to an ‘average’ adult. This is the lowest temperature at which the person is expected to survive in a sleeping bag, without necessarily sleeping comfortably. At this temperature, there is a risk of hypothermia if exposed for more than brief periods, and there is also a significant risk of other cold-related injuries such as frostbite.

With the generous NOMAD® Inca 900 mummy sleeping bag, you can travel light and be sure of a comfortable sleep on colder summer and autumn nights. This sleeping bag weighs only 900 grams and has an compact packed size of 26 x 20 cm, so it will easily fit into your backpack, overnight bag or bike bag.
The outer layer of the Inca 900 is a lightweight polyester, with a PFC-free coating that ensures the water-repellent properties of this sleeping bag in a nature-friendly way. Our product developers have designed the synthetic filling of this sleeping bag specifically to achieve ultimate comfort and excellent insulation without compromising sustainability. This filling, combined with the lining of recycled, 'brushed' polyester, guarantees a wonderfully soft sleep, and because the material used is particularly light, this sleeping bag has a weight of only 900 grams.
The sleeping bag has a soft, padded hood with a cord to pull it more snugly around your head for enhanced warmth. The handy 2-way zip can be opened from either end; a handy feature, for example, if you need extra ventilation around your legs. With an impressive length of 145 cm, the zip can be opened all the way to the bottom of the bag and a padded draught strip prevents valuable body warmth from escaping via the zip. Another clever feature is the '3D foot box' at the base of the bag, providing just that extra bit of room for your feet.
You can keep your small, valuable belongings near you while you sleep in the dedicated compartment within the sleeping bag. The Inca 900 can easily be aired after use thanks to the handy suspension loops provided.
The recommended maximum body length for this sleeping bag is 190 centimetres.
The Inca 900 is suitable for colder nights. Approximate comfort temperatures are 9℃ for women and 4℃ for men. This sleeping bag is not recommended for temperatures below -9℃.
