THE COMFORT TEMPERATURE MEN is defined as the lowest temperature at which an ‘average’ adult male (25 yrs. / 70 kg / 173 cm) can expect to sleep comfortably in a relaxed position. This range is designed to ensure a comfortable night's sleep, particularly for those who are not accustomed to colder environments.
THE EXTREME TEMPERATURE rating is a survival only rating, applicable to an ‘average’ adult. This is the lowest temperature at which the person is expected to survive in a sleeping bag, without necessarily sleeping comfortably. At this temperature, there is a risk of hypothermia if exposed for more than brief periods, and there is also a significant risk of other cold-related injuries such as frostbite.

The outer layer of the Orion 700 Sleeping Bag is a lightweight nylon, with a PFC-free coating that ensures the water-repellent properties of this sleeping bag in a sustainable way. The 3D Polardown Plus® filling ensures the ultimate comfort and insulation even in freezing temperatures. The down is treated to make it water-repellant, keeping you warm and dry without a second thought. All together, the sleeping bags weighs 1.050 grams, perfect for light packing.
Features
The sleeping bag has a soft, padded hood with a cord to pull it more snugly around your head for enhanced warmth. The handy 2-way zipper can be opened from either end. A convenient feature when you need extra ventilation around your legs, for example. The zipper can be opened all the way to the bottom and a padded draught strip prevents valuable body warmth from escaping via the zipper. Another clever feature is the 3D foot box at the base of the bag, providing just that extra bit of room for your feet.
The sleeping bag has a small innerpocket for your valuables, to keep them safe while you sleep.
This down sleeping bag features an antibacterial Polygiene® finish to keep it odor-free and fresh. After use, the Orion 700 Sleeping Bag can easily be aired thanks to the suspension loops at the bottom. Saves you the hassle of a washing!

The recommended maximum body length for this sleeping bag is 190 cm.
Comfort temperature
The Orion 700 Sleeping Bag is suitable for colder nights. Approximate comfort temperatures are -6 ℃ for women and -13 ℃ for men. This sleeping bag is not recommended for temperatures below -33 ℃.
